More speakers have confirmed their presence for the 13th AMI Grass Yarn & Tufters forum. The event will take place on 9 to 11 April in Barcelona, Spain.
Since its inception in 2005 The AMI Grass Yarn & Tufter forum has become the industry's foremost event on artificial grass.
Speakers confirmed to present a paper during the 2018 conference in Barcelona include Wili Hink, Director of the Germany FA, Alastair Cox of the FIH and Nicolas Evans of FIFA. Other speakers will be Bryn Lee of CCGrass, Abby Turner of Dow Chemical, Eric McGuire of Advanced Sports Installations Europe, Dennis Andersen of Re-Match, Daniel Schockmann of Genan, Eric O'Donnell of Sports Labs, John Baize of ACT Global, Friedemann Söll of Polytan, Peter Spanhove of EOC Belgium, Antonio Candela of Realturf Systems, Andy Huang of All Victory Grass, Chuck McClurg of Shaw Turf and Thomas Kubitza of Melos who will all speak about new product developments and trends.
Dan Bond, President and CEO of the Synthetic Turf Council and Dr. Jan Ekstrand of UEFA will address health and safety issues. Bond will present a paper on the safety and health of crumb rubber in artificial grass pitches while Dr. Ekstrand will update delegates on the findings regarding injury risk on artificial grass vs natural grass pitches.
