The European Stadium & Safety Management Association (ESSMA) will host a Pitch Management Workshop at the Amsterdam Arena in Amsterdam. The Amsterdam Arena makes use of a lay & play Tarkett PlayMaster surface.
The event will take place on 17 and 18 April. Paul Baas (Amsterdam Arena Fieldmanager), Arjan Knottnerus (Tarkett Sports) and Arthur Berends (Amsterdam Arena) will welcome the delegates during the workshop.
Topics during this two-day workshop include multifunctional pitches, matchday organisation, weather tracking, dealing with snow and heat, pitch data tracking, hard pitches, player injuries and more. In addition to an Amsterdam ArenA pitch tour, delegates will also have the possibility to visit the training centre of AFC Ajax.
Several speakers from Leicester City FC, AFC Ajax, Werder Bremen and the Algerian FA and more will share their pitch insights.
